Willow Construction served as construction manager for a new two-story pre-engineered metal building for Wildlife International’s expansion. Services included pre-construction budgeting, design review, bidding, and construction. The project scope included revisions to the existing storm water management structure to accommodate the expansion. The addition included a separate pump house building to manage the process waste. The expansion housed test chambers, culture rooms, chem lab, and offices. The lab spaces were equipped with a reverse osmosis system, compressed air, seawater piping, ductless split systems, natural gas, and nitrogen systems.

Project Challenges & Solutions
- The client needed to maintain a fully operational research and development laboratory with multimillion dollar studies, separated by only a wall from construction activities.
- Extra attention to site management was required to manage a limited staging area and pedestrian traffic between several buildings on campus
