Willow Construction built a Butler Manufacturing pre-engineered metal building for GKD’s U.S. corporate offices and manufacturing facility. The interior finishes are very industrial, with exposed concrete floors, exposed CMU block walls, and exposed structural steel. Quality control was a significant factor since these materials are normally concealed by other finish materials. This project included a 30’ high mesh screen wall, suspending metal ceilings and mesh sliding panels. The warehouse is served by a loading dock with concrete retaining walls and exterior canopy. The project incorporated elements from world-renowned architect Dominique Perrault.
