Willow Construction broke ground June 7th, 2017 for the Atlantic General Hospital (AGH) Regional Cancer Care Center. The new building has been named after John H. “Jack” Burbage, former AGH Board of Trustees chair. The new 18,000 square foot building is located on the current AGH campus, at the corner of Route 113 and Route 346, in Berlin, Maryland.

The new center includes an infusion center, linear accelerator, CT scanner, and other advanced technology. The infusion center’s exterior was constructed using Dynamic Glass. The Dynamic Glass windows adapt and tint automatically to adjust the amount of light entering the room to provide a more comfortable, productive, and energy efficient environment. The new center prevents unnecessary travel for cancer patients who demand more intensive services here on the eastern shore. This project is a huge stepping stone for the medical services offered here on the Delmarva Peninsula.
