This project is one of two recently completed by Willow Construction for the Kent Island United Methodist Church. The first phase included installation of a fire protection system and life safety upgrades, as well as a two-story addition to the existing facility. The expansion included offices, classrooms, a cafe, elevator, and associated site improvements. The construction was structural metal studs with bar joist and concrete deck, metal roof trusses, and metal decking. The roof system included insulated panels with shingles. The mechanical system is a water-to-air geothermal heat pump system.
