Jubilant-Cadista Pharmaceuticals Rooftop Unit (RTU) Replacement Project was a two-year project that began in 2020 and consisted of demolition of existing RTUs, Make-up Air Units (MAUs), dust collection system, equipment pads, and installation of new HVAC equipment and associated ductwork both outside, and inside, and around FDA maintained and inspected areas. The greatest challenge of this project was that the majority of the interior work had to be performed during periods of manufacturing shut-downs. It was essential that the project be completed, tested, and turned over by the end of the December 2022 major shut-down, due to the re-start of the client’s manufacturing operations. Had the project not completed on time, the owner stood to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue, and possibly contracts as well.
