Easton Imaging Center
New Construction

Willow Construction was selected by Shore Health to fulfill local demand for diagnostic services by building this stand-alone Imaging Center, which houses two closed Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) units, several X-ray rooms, and other laboratory testing equipment. The facility was built with the needs of ambulatory outpatients in mind, with easy circulation from check-in, to procedural service, to check-out. Structural metal stud framing of walls and roof were used. An assembly of skylights allow natural light into interior spaces.
Project Challenges & Solutions
- Built in close proximity to other buildings, great care was maintained to prevent disruption to the surrounding private medical practices.
- Precision in the receiving areas was required for the installation of extremely sensitive imaging equipment.
- Willow was hired again by Shore Health to install new X-ray equipment after the original project was completed. Much of the work was done at night to avoid disruption to the occupied spaces within the building.
