Willow Construction was selected by Shore Regional Health to complete a major renovation of a specialized medical center in Easton. The Clark Comprehensive Breast Center was an occupied renovation completed in three phases over 16 months. The main entrance to the building was significantly altered to include a new freestanding entry canopy, building expansion for additional office space, and high-end finishes. The interior of the building has been reconfigured for better functionality for various services such as laboratory and imaging. Features include additional mammography rooms, ultrasound, EKG, stereotactic, and bone density. The entire mechanical and electrical systems distribution have been replaced with the addition of a complete fire suppression system.

Project Challenges & Solutions
  • The fully occupied renovation required detailed scheduling and coordination. HVAC, electrical, and roofing system were all replaced while allowing services to remain uninterrupted.
  • Patient Safety and flow through all phases of construction were given top priority.
  • Management and coordination of two shifts of construction reduced the overall project timeline.
