Willow Construction was chosen to build the new Calvert Heights townhomes in Chestertown, MD. The project consisted of demolition of the entire seven-building community, including all asphalt pavement, curbs and sidewalks, underground utilities, and buried oil tanks. Construction then began on eleven buildings with forty townhomes and a community building.

Project Challenges & Solutions
- All existing tenants had to be relocated into temporary homes during construction.
- Oil tanks were discovered during demolition, which required remediation.
- Numerous late fall and winter delays exceeded 30 days, but Willow was able to make up for lost time and complete the project by the original contract date.
