Willow Construction is very proud to have been awarded the contract for this project after bidding against nine other construction firms. This project was relatively small, but our high level of service and quality construction were just as important as for any other large projects that we do. The project consisted of renovating an historic 100-year-old church into the Town Office and a Community Center for the Town of Betterton. This included demolition, adding a handicap ramp, new interior wall framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, painting, HVAC, plumbing, and electric.

Project Challenges & Solutions
- This historic structure had a lot of foundation settlement, which led to water penetration and rot. The foundation settlement caused cracks in the granite exterior walls that had to be repaired using matching sand from nearby Betterton Beach.
- The floors were unlevel, which required framing to be custom cut for the walls to run level.
