Just steps away from kayaking, crabbing, and Bayside’s private beach is 38 Degrees– The Point Pool and Coastal Eatery. The new amenity for the state of the art community overlooks the spectacular views of the Assowoman Bay and the Ocean City Skyline. The project consisted of constructing a 2,800 sf underground pool, jacuzzi, pool house, and a top of the line full-service restaurant and bar.

Project Challenges & Solutions
  • The location on the site was a familiar and frequently utilized area prior to construction beginning.  There was a constant flow of residential traffic, (pedestrians, bicycles, kayakers, construction experts) who ignored the closure and warning signs.  This led to concerns for the safety of both the residents and construction workers at the site.  This was a challenge and one that could not be handled with fencing.
  • The project’s vision and expectation of the site continued to change and expand throughout construction.  Additions to the amenities package changed almost daily and the duration of the construction period did not.
