Willow Construction completed a stunning renovation and addition to the Aspen Institute River House kitchen suite, dining room, entry foyer, and stairwell. The project scope also included replacing the HVAC system, upgrading to the electrical system, and an extensive finish carpentry renovation to match the existing conditions.

Project Challenges & Solutions
- Construction occurred during a short period of time while the facility was partially shut down for the winter. This required strict adherence to project schedule to allow the facility to resume operation at the project completion date.
- The interior finish details required the millwork supplier to perfectly match existing finished and profiles.
- The project required close coordination with the HVAC contractor to allow the new mechanical system to fit into existing spaces.
- Inclement weather conditions throughout construction required special attention to ensure no damage was done to the addition before it was completed.
